All works are freehand drawings.

They are made sometimes from the machines themselves, but some compositions are constructed with the aid of photographs and models.

I work with just HB and 2B pencils for most of the drawings and use the excellent Derwent range of pencils when colour is required.

Projectors & Camera Lucida light boxes are not used in the production of these drawings. My only instrument is a ruler and occasionally drawings are squared up for transfer from my sketch book to a larger image for the finished drawing.
